Trisha Cole, Vice President
Trisha Cole’s career in the hospitality public relations industry was launched through nontraditional channels. After receiving a B.A. in English literature from the University of California, Berkeley, she taught fifth grade for five years in Kentfield, CA. In 1997, Trisha decided it was time for a change, and moved to Los Angeles with her husband. Before long, she found herself at Bon Appétit magazine in the editorial department, working on stories for the “Starters” and “Western Insider” columns, as well as developing the monthly menu suggestions. It was at this time that she honed her writing skills and her epicurean know-how. In 2001 she met Mary Wagstaff and soon joined the Wagstaff team. Over the past nine years she has had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including the South Australian Tourism Commission, with whom the company now has a longstanding relationship. Her excellent communication and writing skills, combined with an impressive familiarity with the culinary and travel world, have made her uniquely qualified to work in hospitality PR. Trisha lives with her husband and two young daughters in Los Angeles. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, at home in their organic vegetable garden, and oftentimes further afield at her parents’ home on the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.
